Haryana Government will develop a software for transfers of doctors, employees and officers of the Health Department so as to make the transfer process fully transparent. Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij on Friday said that many employees of the Department approach him every day for their transfers. This not only disrupts working of the Department, but also reduces its efficiency, said he. He added the Government has put a ban on general transfers therefore employees should not waste time for their transfers. A software is being developed for transparent transfer of doctors, employees and officers of the Department, he added. Warning the employees against approaching him for transfers, Vij said that even after this, if any employee, officer or doctors apply for transfer, then strict action would be initiated against him or her. Such employees could also be suspended, he said. Vij said the employees visit Chandigarh to get desired place of posting which results in staff crunch in hospitals. Therefore, a decision has been taken to prepare a software so that patients in hospitals would not face any problem in their treatment, added the Minister.
