Haryana Government will celebrate lord Vishwakarma Jayanti at State-level function in Sonipat on September 17.
The Minister of State for labour and Employment, Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said the Chief Minister Manohar lal would be chief guest in the function which would be a part of Swarna Jayanti celebrations.
The Chief Minister would announce a number of welfare schemes for the workers and labourers and others at the state level function, said Nayab Saini while talking to the mediapersons here.
He said Union Minister for labour and Employment, Bandaru Dattatreya would also grace the occasion. The workers, labourers and artisans from all over the state would participate in the state level celebration.
Chairman, Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Section Kalyan Nigam, Ram Chander Jangra informed that State Government is setting up Vishwakarma Skill Development University in Palwal where courses of about 300 technical trades would be started.
The Government had also decided to open centres of the university at district level. later on, these centres would also be brought at tehsil level, he added.
