The BJP Government in Haryana will bring out a White Paper on the financial position of the State prior to the next Budget Session, Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar said while replying to the Governor’s address in the Assembly on Tuesday.
Expressing concern over reports indicating major irregularities in the prevailing system of distribution of social security pension, Khattar said the audit reports confirm that a scam involving Rs 4.50 crore has been unearthed in Karnal district alone. The reports also reveal that there are 12,000 such beneficiaries who have not even filled up the application forms.
He said that the BJP Government in the State would fulfil all its promises made to the people in the election manifesto. As promised in the election manifesto, the State Government would definitely make public its plan to enhance the old age allowance prior to the next budget session.
