Haryana to be AAP's second priority

After the national capital New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) formally announced that its second focus would be Haryana.

Yogender Yadav, member of national executive of the Aam Aadmi Party was in Chandigarh on Sunday to elaborate on the working of the party in Haryana.

“Robert Vadra-DlF land deal here will be one of the key issues that we will raise during the upcoming lok Sabha elections 2014,” said Yadav while talking to The Pioneer.

Yadav said that we are here to strengthen our party in Haryana now. In the upcoming lok Sabha elections 2014, the people of this State will realize the power of our party.

He said that we have already completed the formation of our executives in 18 districts in the State and in the rest of three districts; the process will be completed in coming three to four months. Thereafter, we have plans to form executives in villages, blocks and wards level.

At present, ruling Congress party in Haryana is facing the resentment of its own senior disgruntled leaders in the different constituencies, and they have also protested in front of high command several times.

On the other hand, the main Opposition party — Indian National lok Dal’s (INlD) senior leaders including its chief Om Prakash Chautala, his son Ajay Singh Chautalaand others are in the Tihar Central Jail serving for JBT teachers recruitment scam case.

However, the third alliance of BJP and HJC has no big political base in the State. In these circumstances, Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP is trying to form its own base by raising certain issues.
