Describing the one-hour after an accident as the golden hour, the Minister said that precious life of any victim could be saved by transporting him immediately to hospital. People should come forward to help the victims of road accidents, said he.
In Haryana, the figure of accidental deaths is over 4,600 every year from about 10,000 accidents. Many times people do not help the victim to avoid being called to the police station and courts.
