Keeping in view the prevailing inclement weather and dense fog, Haryana Prisons Department has rescheduled the timing of interviews (Mulaquat) for inmates of prisons from 9 am to 4 pm.
Director General, Prisons, Yash Pal Singal said that these timings would remain effective from January to March 31, 2014. However, the timings for interview with legal counsel would remain unchanged.
The Department has directed all Superintendents of Jails to display these instructions in bold letters both inside and outside the jails in Hindi for the notice of all the prisoners and those coming to meet them, he added.
