To facilitate the teachers and simplify the process of filling up vacant posts, the Haryana School Education Department has decided to use MIS profile records of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Classical and Vernacular (C and V) teachers being considered for promotion to the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs).
A spokesman said that the Department had initiated the process of filling up the vacant posts of PGTs through promotion of eligible TGTs and C and V teachers.
However, to spare them from the hardship of creating documentation as far as possible, the Department has decided to use their MIS records, which are verified records approved by a school head who is custodian of the actual service record of a teacher. The Department would dispense with the earlier practice of Application Inviting System, which was cumbersome and complicated, he added.
The tentative list of TGTs and C and V teachers considered prima facie eligible for promotion on basis of qualifications and experience acquired up to January 1, 2017 had been prepared using MIS resources.
The Department would make use of MIS instead of Application Inviting System for providing other benefits such as Assured Career Progression, medical reimbursement, permissions and No Objection Certificates.
