Haryana Government has reduced the application fee for availing online services through HarSamay portal of Haryana Police from Rs500 to Rs 50.
These services could be availed by creating account on websites http://haryanapoliceonline.gov.in orhttp://harsamay.gov.in, said a spokesman of the Police Department.
He said that ten online verification services, including character certificate, police clearance certificate, verification of domestic help and verification of tenant and employee, would be provided on HarSamay Portal for Rs50.
The online services could be availed for Rs50 only through online applications, and Rs500 would be charged for availing services through police office or station.
Apart from this, online applications for 17 services related to weapons in Gurugram, Faridabad and Panchkula Commissionerates could also be made through the HarSamay Portal.
The spokesman said that 31 online services were being provided through the HarSamay Portal, which could be availed by the people anytime, anywhere. Services such as online complaint registration and missing persons report are still being provided free of cost. Prescribed fee would be applicable for online applications for filing RTI and private security agency, he added.
