Haryana Minister of State for Development and Panchayats, Bikram Singh Yadav visited Kalanaur Anaj Mandi and took a stock of the progress of ongoing procurement process.
He directed that lifting of wheat should be ensured simultaneously with the procurement so that farmers may not face any problem for storage of wheat in mandis. He said that more than half of Rabi season crops have already arrived in mandis and it is expected that it would continue for another few days.
He added that all officers and employees of procurement agencies should work systematically to procure the foodgrains and ensure timely lifting of bags from mandis.
