Following incidents of fire reportedly damaged crops in various parts of the state, Haryana Government on Friday ordered crop loss assessment exercise in the state.
Haryana Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu has directed to conduct special assessment of damage caused to wheat crop due to fire.
He said that accordingly, compensation would be awarded to farmers as per the policy of the State Government.
The standing wheat and sugarcane crops have been reportedly damaged in villages of Karnal, Sonipat among other parts of the state in the past three days.
