Haryana: 'Onetime settlement scheme' to decide oustees' pending claims

Published on:

The Haryana Government has framed a ‘onetime settlement scheme’ to decide all oustees claims pending in the State.

The scheme has been framed to minimise the litigation filed by land owners claiming residential plots under the oustees category. Under this scheme, reservation quota of oustees have been increased to 50 per cent from earlier 8 to 10 per cent to settle all pending claims, said a spokesman of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).

He said that now, 50 per cent of total plots available on the date of advertisement would be offered for allotment to the oustees under the scheme. These 50 per cent plot would include all un-allotted plots available in the sectors floated or developed during last five years. These un-allotted plots would be allotted to oustees alone through draw of lots.
