The women of Haryana have made their mark in many fields at the national and international level. We have dedicated the budget for the year 2022-23 presented to women.”

Describing State’s general budget 2022-23 as the one to accelerate the development of the State, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that although this budget has been prepared keeping in mind the interest of all Sections, special emphasis has been laid on employment, industry, public works, rural development, Civil Aviation, this will open various doors for employment opportunities and investment for youth in future.

Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, “People of the State had not got anything in the budget for which the alliance government could be praised. This budget had not proved to be useful in any manner to people of the State. Only tall claims have been made in this budget.”

The target of tackling malnutrition and increasing the nutritional level among women can be achieved with 33.7 percent more budget allocation to the Department.

Haryana Power Minister Ranjit Singh described the budget as historic. “All sections of the society have been taken care of in this budget,’ he added.

The president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Kumari Selja said that today unemployment was at its peak in Haryana. It was expected from this budget that the government would make some important announcement towards employment generation, but the government had not made any such announcement. “Today on the occasion of International Women Day, the expectations that women had from this budget were not fulfilled.
