Haryana Kaushal Vikas Mission has been formed on the pattern of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana for the skill development of the youth of the State.
The state Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Thursday said that under this Mission, dropouts of school and college and other unemployed youth would be given training.
Besides this, an agreement has been made with United Nations Development Programme to provide skill development training to women. Under this, in the next two years, 10,000 women of the state would be benefited, said he.
He added that the children should also be imparted training in developing atleast one skill besides ensuring their formal education.
The Education Minister said that the youth should be encouraged to voluntarily participate in skill development programmes. The schemes of the State Government would be helpful in the skill development of youth in Haryana.
