Taking serious note of matter of releasing No Objection Certificate (NOC) and letter of Intent (lOI) to Pushkar Education Society in Jind, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday wrote a letter to Haryana Chief Secretary for investigation into the matter. Vij also demanded strict disciplinary action against officials found involved in this matter.
The Society had sent its application during the regime of previous Congress Government for opening a nursing college, but the present BJP-led Haryana Government has imposed ban on issuing of NOC and lOI to any such college till the formation of new nursing policy, But Pushkar Education Society got NOC and lOI. Vij said that some Congress loyalists in the Department did not forward the files to the Minister and passed these files at their own level to provide approval to the Society.
