The Haryana Government will organise seminars and kisan melas at district and block level to make farmers aware about Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
Principal Secretary, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, Abhilaksh likhi on Wednesday said that to bring non-loanee farmers under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PPMFBY) is a challenging task and efforts are made in this regard.
For this, seminars and kisan melas will be organised so that non-loanee farmers could also avail benefits of this scheme, said likhi while speaking during a one-day workshop of PPMFBY, here.
He said that the successful implementation of a scheme depends on stakeholders associated with the scheme. The stakeholders should work in coordination so that there would be few problems in implementation, said likhi.
