Haryana Government has decided that fee or charges relating to conversion fee and External Development Charges (EDC) for grant of Change of land Use (ClU) permission to institutions or organisations imparting religious or spiritual preachings and moral education, would be levied as per the covered area or Floor Area Ratio (FAR) proposed to be achieved or approved. A spokesman of the Town and Country Planning Department on Wednesday said that scrutiny fee would be leviable on the entire site area at the rate of `10 per square metre.
He said that in case further extension in the covered area of the ClU-granted project is required, within the permissible limits, from the earlier approved covered area, the conversion charges and EDC would be levied as applicable at the time of application for extension.
The spokesman added that a decision to this effect has been taken on the basis of the request of various organisations.
