To make application for pension schemes in the State hassle-free, Haryana Government will soon launch Pension Application Services from Common Service Centers (CSCs).

Under this, the application process for pension schemes in the state would be made online, said Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Kavita Jain on Tuesday.

She said that under this e-Service window, beneficiaries can go to the CSC centre of their own village or nearby villages and apply for pension. The beneficiary would not have to travel long distances for applying for their pension. All documents would be uploaded at these Centres from March 1, 2016 onwards.

She said that this facility would be available for nine schemes, namely Old Age Pension, Widow/Destitute Pension, Handicap Pension, ladli Scheme, Financial Aid to Destitute Children, Financial Aid to Non-School Going Disabled Children, Dwarf Allowance Scheme and Eunuch Allowance Scheme.

The Minister said that each beneficiary should get pension at least once in every three months either by biometric method or by withdrawal slip.

She added that if that is not possible, then they could avail the facility of getting life certificate made at CSC and get it uploaded by bank, Block Post Office, other disbursing agents and District Social Welfare Officers.
