To celebrate State’s Swarna Jayanti (golden jubilee) year, Haryana Government has decided to organise State-level dance and singing competition with a cash award of Rs 1.01 lakh for the winning team.
Haryana Kala Parishad would organise ‘Swarna Jayanti Haryanvi lok Nritya Avm Gayan Pratiyogita 2017’. The Parishad has invited applications for the competition latest by July 15, said a spokesman of the Parishad .
He said that firstly, divisional level competition would be held, thereafter State level competition would be held.
The teams bagging top positions in divisional level competition would participate in the state level competition. The teams bagging top positions in State level dance competition would get Rs 1,01,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 51,000, respectively, said the spokesperson.
Similarly, the teams bagging first, second and third positions in singing competition at state level would get Rs 51,000, Rs 31,000 and Rs 21,000, respectively. Mementos and certificates would also be given to winning participants, he added.
The spokesman said the participants participating in singing and dance competition in group-I should be between 12 and 18 years of age and those participating in group-II should be more than 19 years of age.
He added that each team applying for dance competition would have to deposit Rs 1,000 and the teams applying for singing competition would have to deposit Rs 500 alongwith application form through bank draft/cheque to the name of ‘Multi Art Cultural Centre’.
