Haryana Govt should reconsider its own misadventures: SAD

Published on:

Reacted strongly to the statement of Haryana Cabinet Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala, the Shiromani Akali Dal on Friday said instead of attacking the Government of India, the Haryana Congress Government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda should reconsider its own misadventures and unconstitutional practices.

In a statement,  SAD Secretary and Spokesman and Punjab Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema  said that Union Government has taken a right step in advising the Haryana Government that it is not competent to pass such a bill in the state legislature where already a central act namely the Sikh Gurdwara Act 1925 exists.

Cheema said that the statement of  Surjewala shows that the Congress government of Haryana has gone berserk when it has felt on the receipt of the letter that its evil designs have been foiled by the Union government. He said instead of raising pseudo federalism issues to hide their own constitutional blunders, the  Haryana leaders should learn to respect the Indian Constitution which has been drafted on federal lines clearly defining the power of centre and as well as the states.
