Compiling caste details of all its employees, Haryana Government on Monday directed all Deputy Commissioners to collect the self declaration of caste proforma from all HCS officers posted under the jurisdiction in the state.
A communiqué from Chief Secretary’s Office asked all the Deputy Commissioners to send the required information within five days.
The Chief Secretary had earlier in September written to all HoDs, Deputy Commissioners, Registrar General Punjab and Haryana High Court, chairmen and MDs of Boards/Corporations/PSUs, commissioners of four divisions, directing them to ensure that the caste data of all employees under their control is entered in the HRMS (Human Resource Management System) by October 10.
