Haryana Government has reconstituted the Haryana State Employment Guarantee Council (HSEGC) under the chairmanship of Development and Panchayats Minister. The Additional Chief Secretary of Rural Development Department would be its member Secretary. The Council would advise the State Government on all matters concerning HREGS and its implementation. It will determine the preferred works, review the monitoring and redressal mechanisms from time to time and recommend improvements.
