Haryana Government has ordered a vigilance enquiry against an Executive Engineer and a Junior Engineer of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVNl), Rohtak to look into allegation of use of substandard material in construction of 48 quarters at Rohtak and thus causing loss to the state exchequer.
An official spokesman on Tuesday said that the accused are Ishwar Singh Kundu, Executive Engineer and NK Bhutani, Junior Engineer. The conduct of Vasu Construction Company ,Sirsa, who was contractor for this project would also be examined.
He said that the vigilance enquiry will be taken up by State Vigilance Bureau Range, Rohtak. An officer of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police will conduct the enquiry, he added.
