Haryana Govt issue directions to all departments

Published on:

Haryana Government has asked all the departments in the state to engage 20 percent Scheduled Castes category candidates and 27 percent Backward Category candidates (16 % BCA and 11% BCB) against the total seats available for apprenticeship training in their offices and field offices concerned.

The departments could engage 10 percent trade apprentices of the total manpower under Apprenticeship Act 1961, said a spokesman of Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department.

He said that if the eligible candidates for the reserved categories were not available, in that case, the vacant seats could be filled up from general category candidates.

The departments would engage trade apprentice at their own level among the candidates who have applied online to the departments concerned at apprenticeship portal. The trade apprentice to be engaged in government departments, state public sector undertakings and Universities must be permanent resident of Haryana, said the spokesman.

All the Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Managing Directors and Chief Administrators of Boards and Corporations and Registrars of Universities have been asked to take necessary action in their departments concerned for the same, added he.
