Hitting back at former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the BJP Government in Haryana on Wednesday termed his allegations as baseless and far from truth, saying it reflected the level of his frustration.
Jagdish Chopra, Political Advisor to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar while reacting to the statement made by former Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, said that by issuing such misleading statements, Hooda is just making an unsuccessful attempt to save his political existence.
He said that before leveling false allegations of lathicharge on the people by BJP Government, they should have first look at themselves. Soon after taking over the reign of administration, the Hooda Government had brutally lathicharged the innocent laborers on July 25, 2005 who were protesting peacefully in Gurgaon, in which hundreds of workers got injured. Similarly, the laborers of liberty Company of Karnal were lathicharged in June 2006.
Hooda is shedding crocodile tears in the name of guest teachers. Sometimes, he refers to nursing students, talk about the interest of computer teachers and lab assistants and sometimes, advocates for JBT teachers but he might have forgotten that he himself is responsible for their plight, alleged Chopra.
He added that nepotism, casteism and regional bias in government jobs were rampant during the previous government. Written exam was just an eyewash… Benefit was given to near and dear ones in the name of interviews, he added.
Chopra said that the allegation leveled by Hooda that diesel is costlier in Haryana is also baseless. In Haryana the price of diesel is `50.35 per litre whereas it is `50.45 per liter in Punjab and `50.58 per liter in Chandigarh. Now question is where has Hooda seen the board on which it is written that ‘Yahan Haryana se Sasta Tel Milta Hai’, added Chopra.
The BJP government do not need Hooda’s certificate regarding interest of farmers. Farmers of the state could themselves understand that who are their actual well wishers in real terms and who is beating the drum of being farmers’ friendly, said he.
