In line with the Centre’s project ‘Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan’, Haryana Government has issued orders to carry out cleanliness drive up to August 15 in all the Government offices and State Public Undertakings.As per the orders issued from Haryana Chief Secretary office, all the Administrative Secretaries, Head of Departments, Divisional Commissoners, Registrars of Universities and Deputy Commissioners have been asked to ensure an improved work culture and work environment including hygiene and cleanliness of the work place.
They have been asked to ensure full compliance of the instructions in letter and spirit ...up to August 15.A spokesman said during the drive activities to be carried out would include upkeep and cleaning of offices including common area premises, toilets, stairs, lifts, the areas outside the office including parking lots, pathways, disposal of unusable vehicles or furniture or electronics and electrical equipment and weeding out of old files or records after adopting the due procedure.
Following the directions of the Central Government, Haryana Government had earlier carried out a week long cleanliness drive from June 24 to July 1 in all government offices of Haryana and State Public Undertakings.The matter has been re-considered by the State Government and it has now decided to continue the cleanliness drive up to August 15 in all the offices, said the orders issued by Haryana Chief Secretary office.
