lauding the efforts made by the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, OP Dhankar, for organizing the summit, which is providing a platform to farmers to learn about new and innovative techniques of farming, he stressed the need for publication of research documents on agriculture in Hindi language with local dialect.
This would enable the farmers to understand the various advancements and innovations made in the field of agriculture, said he.
Expressing concern over the poor condition of the farmers, the Minister said that the policy makers would have to introspect on the poor condition of the farmers even after 70 years of Independence. This is a big issue which needs to be addressed as our farmers have given their sweat and blood to provide food stock to the country's pool, he added.
