In view of alleged black-marketing of urea in the State, the Haryana Government has decided to distribute urea to the farmers through Kisan Credit Cards from the next harvesting season. Haryana Agriculture Minister, OP Dhankar, while talking to mediapersons on Friday said that those framers who do not have Kisan Credit Cards would be issued passbooks to record the supplies given to them. Dhankar said that this year, additional 49,000 metric tonnes of urea had been distributed in October, November and December as compared to last year.
