Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has launched website http://www.haryanatax.com/ to speedily and efficiently address the problems of taxpayers. Excise and Taxation Commissioner Sudhir Rajpal on Thursday said that it is an integrated smooth functioning system based on web technology for the facility of the taxpayers.
He said that a special troubleshooting column has also been set up on this website for the facility of taxpayers where with a click they could register their complaint. The complainant would also be able to track the online status of the complaint registered and actions taken by the Department, he added. The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs379 crore excess revenue in the months of October, November and December 2014 as compared to corresponding period of last financial year.
