To involve the public at large in policy formulation, Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has invited suggestions from people of the State for the Excise Policy being framed for the next financial year.
Haryana Excise and Taxation Minister Capt Abhimanyu said that after formation of BJP Government in the State, for the first time, Excise Policy was framed on the basis of suggestions of people during 2015-16 financial year. On the same pattern, suggestions have been invited from people for 2016-17. All stakeholders associated with the policy and others could send their suggestions through email or post latest by December 28, this year.
“The aim of the Government is to frame a better Excise Policy with active participation of people,” he said. People can email their suggestion on hoharyanatax@gmail.com or aetchq@gmail.com. If anyone wants to send their suggestions through post then they could send the same to Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana, Vanijya Bhawan, Plot No 1-3, Sector 5, Panchkula.
The Minister said that the aim of the Government is to frame such policies, which would ensure economic benefit to the State and which also involves valuable suggestions from people. The Excise Policy is also being drafted on this pattern. He said that the Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has already made most of its services online and the remaining services are also being made online.
