The Haryana Government on Thursday directed the Departments, Boards and Corporations to make all official comments and correspondence only in national language Hindi and use English language only in the legal matters related to Supreme Court, High Court and any other court.
An official spokesman said that they have also been directed that normal correspondence with the general public be also made in Hindi.
He said that the departments would also ensure the clear translation of all forms and applications forms in both Hindi and English language and uplo_ad the same on their websites so that people do not face any inconvenience in understanding the same.
All Head of Departments, Divisional Commissioners of Karnal, Hisar, Gurugram, Faridabad and Rohtak, all Deputy Commissioners and Sub Divisional Officers, Managing Directors of Boards and Corporations and all Universities in the State have been directed to ensure the compliance of these instructions.
