Haryana Government has decided to revise the ex-gratia assistance paid to the families of deceased Government employees who died between August 1, 2006 and December 31, 2015.
Announcing this here, the Chief Minister Manohar lal said that such families would now get ex-gratia pay/financial assistance as per the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations. Presently, the bereaved families are getting a sum equal to the pay and other allowances last drawn by the deceased employees, as financial assistance/ex-gratia pay as per recommendations of the 6th CPC, said he.
Earlier, Haryana Government had also given the benefits of the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission to the employees of government, Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, Municipal Committees and Town and City Improvement Boards, Corporations pensioners, with effect from January 1, 2016.
