Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will directly engage with beneficiaries of the ‘Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana’ through an audio conferencing session scheduled for August 19 at 5 pm, said the official spokesperson on Friday. He said that this interaction is a part of the Chief Minister's dedicated discussion programme, providing a platform for beneficiaries to share their experiences and challenges encountered while availing the benefits of the scheme.

As a recurring practice, the Chief Minister initiates direct interactions every Saturday, targeting various segments of the state's population. This distinctive approach involves engaging with beneficiaries of different public welfare programmes implemented by both Central and State Governments, aiming to assess the on-ground execution of these initiatives.

The spokesperson further said that the ‘Bhavantar Bharpayee Yojana’ was introduced to safeguard farmers in Haryana from the risk of crop loss due to natural calamities. Under this, farmers are compensated by the government for getting low prices for their produce in the market. In this upcoming dialogue session, the Chief Minister will directly connect with approximately 10 to 15 thousand beneficiaries of this scheme.

A notable feature of these discussions is the participation of Deputy Commissioners from respective districts and senior officials from concerned departments. The Chief Minister ensures prompt action in addressing any gaps or shortcomings identified during these conversations, reinforcing his commitment to efficient scheme implementation, he added.
