To improve ‘Ease of doing business’ (EODB) ranking, Haryana Chief Secretary Keshani Anand Arora on Tuesday asked heads of all Government departments to achieve 100 per cent Business Reform Action Point (BRAP) by the end of September, 2020.

Arora said this while presiding over the review meeting held about the progress on implementation of Business Reform Action Plan in Chandigarh. In the meeting, Director of Industries and Commerce Department Saket Kumar made a presentation related to the State and District Business Reform Action Plan in detail.

Arora instructed the officers that all the concerned departments should work in mutual coordination for business reform and ensure that all services are delivered online in the prescribed time frame.

Apart from this, the status tracking system and document upload system should also be followed when any businessmen seek No Objection Certificates for establishing trade in the State. They need to ensure that traders do not visit one office to another for the same. She also instructed the administrative secretaries to personally review the work to be done for the improvement of the action plan.

In the meeting, it was informed that 213 points are to be implemented at the district level while 301 points at the state level under the Business Reform Action Point issued by the Central Government. Such practices are being followed in Haryana to facilitate the traders for exploring their business.

Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department Vijayvardhan, Principal Secretary of Archaeological Museum and Archives Department Ashok Khemka, Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce Department Apoorva Kumar Singh and Associate Director of PMG Dhawal Piplani were present in the meeting.
