The Haryana Cabinet will meet on Friday to decide the date of Budget Session which is likely to be held in the last week of February. The Budget Session assumes significance since the newly-formed BJP-led State Government is likely to bring in various new schemes to fulfil the promises made in their election manifesto.
The last Assembly Session that took place in November last year witnessed uproarious scenes following the Governor's address with the Chief Minister asserting that all "wrongdoings" of Congress Government regime would be probed. Meanwhile, the Cabinet meet to be held under Chief Minister Manohar lal will also deliberate over the budgetary provisions to be made for various departments, new policies and schemes to be implemented by the State Government.
