Haryana Board makes Aadhaar card mandatory for Class X, XII students

Published on:

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has made it compulsory for students of Class X and XII to have Aadhaar card number while applying for the 2017 examination.

Chairman, BSEH,  Jagbir Singh on Thursday said that candidates would benefit in many ways from this move.

The use of Aadhaar number would prevent forgery of certificates and impersonation cases, besides ensuring that the details of the candidates are complete and accurate, said he. He said that while provision for use of Aadhaar in the examination process had been made earlier, it had not been made mandatory now.
