Haryana BJP has geared up for the ‘Gaurav rally’ to be held at Jind on September 11. The rally would be attended by several Union Ministers, BJP national chief Amit Shah, Chief Minister Manohar lal and his Cabinet.

Union Steel Minister Birender Singh on Monday said the ‘Gaurav rally’ would be a platform to strengthen the harmony of the State.

“In last two-years, the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre has accomplished many  achievements, also Manohar lal Khattar government in Haryana has completed its two successful years in power.  All the accomplishments will be presented before the people in the rally,” said Singh.

In the rally, the achievements of the last 50 years and the roadmap for the next 50 years would also be laid out, said he.

He said that the State Government is working towards raising the economic status of the people in rural areas by doubling their income, as envisioned by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. The Central and State Governments are taking steps to ensure transparent and corruption-free governance. No allegation of corruption has so far been levelled against any leader or the party under the regime of these two leaders, said the Union Minister while speaking at a function in Hisar.

Birender Singh also cautioned the people of the State against the ill designs of those who had been trying to disrupt the harmony of the State by dividing it on the basis of caste.

He said that with 21 per cent contribution of foodgrains to the Central Pool, Haryana stands second after Punjab. One out of every five officers in the Indian Army in 1984 belonged to Punjab, but now this credit goes to Haryana, he added.

Greeting the people on the occasion of Teachers’ Day and Ganesh Chaturthi, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, said that several Union Ministers, apart from BJP president Amit Shah, would attend the ‘Gaurav rally’, which would be a historic event.

He said that the present government had been successful in reforming the system by rising above issues such as nepotism and discrimination on basis of region and caste.
