Preparing for the upcoming elections to municipal bodies and PRIs, the BJP faces a major challenge of ongoing farmers’ agitation. The farmers’ agitation against the three central farm laws has been going on for over seven months now and the protestors are not allowing the leaders of BJP and its alliance partner JJP to hold any public events across the state.
Not only this, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has also announced to oppose the candidates supported by the BJP and JJP in the panchayat and urban local body elections.
