After completing the process of transfer of 6,743 teachers in the state, Haryana Government has started the transfer drive for principals, trained graduate teachers (TGTs) and classical and vernacular (C&V) teachers.
They may apply for transfers on the MIS portal till August 20, said an official spokesman.
Under its teachers’ transfer policy 2016, Haryana Government had recently issued transfer orders of 6,743 teachers in the state. Out of the total transferred teachers, 4262 are PGT, 257 are headmasters in high schools and 2,224 are headmasters in elementary schools
The spokesman said that rationalisation sheet, final list of eligible teachers, list of actual vacancies, deemed vacancies and merit list would be uploaded on August 22. Options would be sought from eligible teachers from the evening of August 23 to August 26. Following this, transfer orders would be released on August 28.
He said that all teachers completing five-year stay in a zone would be compulsorily eligible. All teachers belonging to the participant categories irrespective of their stay, could participate voluntarily, if they desire so, for which they need to opt ‘YES’.
Besides, all newly-promoted Principals, TGTs and C&Vs would participate compulsorily in the drive to obtain posting through the system, said he.
