The Haryana Government on Wednesday approved an action plan for Rs29.78 crore under modernisation of police force scheme for procurement of weaponry/arms and other equipment during 2015. The action plan was approved in a meeting of State level Empowered Committee held under Chief Secretary DS Dhesi here to monitor implementation of the scheme.
Dhesi said that the amount would be spent on mobility, procurement of weaponry and arms from Ordnance Factories Board and from other sources, anti riot equipments, police equipments, communication equipments, Forensic Science laboratory (FSl), training equipments, equipments for special branch (CID), equipments for Home guards and equipments for State Vigilance Bureau.
