Haryana Government has approved the closure of Narwana branch up to October 31 for plugging of leakage flowing into Ghaggar River.
A spokesperson said that the proposed closure of Narwana Branch was from October 17 to October 23 but on the request of Punjab Government, it has been decided that the branch would be closed from October 20 to October 31. He said that on availability of water in Yamuna river, some supplies could be supplemented at Budhera Complex through Sirsa Branch during this period.
