Gearing up for the implementation of GST regime from July 1 in Haryana, the State Government has constituted eleven Sectoral Working Groups (SWGs) to go into the issues and concerns likely to be faced by their respective sector under the GST and offer workable suggestions for overcoming them by the end of this month.
The officers of the rank of Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (DETC), Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner (AETC), and Excise and Taxation Officer had been nominated for each sector, said Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary, Excise and Taxation Department.
These sectors include banking, financial services and insurance, telecom, information technology, information technology enabled services and e-commerce, travel, tourism, transport and logistics, textiles and handicrafts; auto sector and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, big infrastructure, drug, pharmaceuticals and food processing; mining and plywood and BKOs.
