Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Shivraj Patil on Tuesday directed the UT Administration to make arrangements for water scooters at lake Sports Club.
Patil inaugurated shooting sports facility at the lake Club and also showed keen interest in all the sports events, including rifle shooting, rowing, horse riding club, archery gymnasium hall. After the inauguration, he fired two shots with air rifle hitting both in the bull’s eye. He also tried his hand at the bow and arrow at the archery club in lake Sports Club.
Appreciating well-designed lake Sports Club and its ongoing activities, he asked UT Secretary Sports VK Singh to make arrangement of water scooters also, in this sports club and give more funds for further development of the club.
