Uttarakhand Governor KK Paul, in his capacity as Chancellor of State Universities, has cancelled the appointment of Dr Hemwati Nandan Pandey on the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics in University of Kumaon. The appointment of HN Pandey was challenged by Dr Seema Pandey. The Governor found that the selection committee did not adhere to norms while selecting Dr Pandey. The Governor has asked the Governing Council to implement the order.
