Haryana Government has directed all the departments, boards and corporations to send the fresh requisition of group-D posts to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) as these posts have been brought within the purview of the Commission.
In a letter to all departments, the Chief Secretary’s office has directed that all the requisition of these post sent by the department concerned to the General Administration in General Services-I branch has been treated as withdrawn.
Fresh requisition of Group-D posts should be sent to HSSC, said the letter, which has been sent to all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, commissioners of divisions, deputy commissions, MDs/Cos of Boards and corporations.
Notably, interview system for selection to posts of group C and D have been scrapped last year by State Government to negate the tendency of discretion. The Government has decided to reduce the prescribed ratio of 85:15 to 90:10 i.e. 90 marks for the written test and ten marks for experience and some objective socio-economic criteria in respect of recruitment to Group C and D posts in Haryana.
