Haryana Government has issued directions to officers concerned to fulfil the norms laid down by the NITI Ayog and make Nuh as the best performing district.
The government is committed towards further improving basic facilities in aspirational district Nuh, said Rakesh Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister while presiding over meeting of ‘Transformation of Aspirational Districts’ initiative to further improve Human Development Index in district Nuh.
Gupta directed the officers to focus on learning outcomes to further improve education level in district Nuh. For this, Saksham Haryana programme would be promoted in Nuh.
He said that assistance of NGOs should be sought to improve all services from education to health and special training be imparted to them.
Notably, Haryana’s Nuh was the lowest-ranked among backwards districts in the list of 101 districts across the country, as per NITI Aayog’s preliminary or baseline ranking released in March.
