To celebrate ‘International Gita Mahotsav 2016’, which began at Kurukshetra on Tuesday, the Haryana Government has decided to organise ‘Gita Jayanti Samaroh’ from December 8 to 10 in every district of the State.
The State Government on Tuesday issued orders deputing MPs and MlAs as chief guests for the events in each district of Haryana. Further, the deputy commissioners have been asked to coordinate with the dignitaries and make necessary arrangement to make the celebrations successful.
Cabinet Ministers Ram Bilas Sharma, Anil Vij would attend the celebrations in Ambala, Capt. Abhimanyu in Gurugram, OP Dhankar in Jhajjar, Kavita Jain in Panchkula, Nayab Singh Saini in Sirsa among others.
Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar will attend the celebrations at Faridabad.
