The Vice-Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, Kailash Chandra Sharma announced to open Gita Study and Research Centre in the university for the study of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita,
At the inaugural ceremony of International Gita seminar, he said that a proposal in this regard was sent to the Vice Chancellor and Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya from the Philosophy Department of the University. He has granted permission to create a special center for Buddhism at Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Studies Center and Gita Study and Research Center at Kurukshetra University. In the coming days, the students would get to study Buddhism and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the centres, he added.
