Expressing grave concern over the incident of a bomb blast in Essen Sikh Temple in Germany a day before, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday demanded an independent probe in the incident and strict action against the culprits.
Condemning the blast that injured three in the Gurdwara including a granthi, BJP national secretary Tarun Chugh wished a speedy recovery for all.
He said that incident indicates towards a deep-rooted conspiracy which needs to be thoroughly probed. “As reported, it was a powerful blast which not only damaged the Gurdwara but also had impact on buildings around the religious place,” he said.
The BJP leader hailed the immediate steps taken by the Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj. “The Indian High Commission in Germany should do its best to follow up the matter and assist the German intelligence agencies so that the people behind the incident are exposed and the culprits nabbed,” he added.
