'Gangster elements won't be spared'

Sounding a warning note to the trouble mongers, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Wednesday declared that no disruptive element posing a threat to hard earned peace would be spared. “Such rowdy gangster elements would be severely dealt with and put behind bars,” he declared.

Sukhbir, interacting with media-persons during his Sangat Darshan of Balachaur assembly constituency, said that he has instructed the Punjab Police to quickly nab the remaining gangsters and put them behind bars.

Replying to a query regarding some radical groups getting active in view of next year’s assembly elections, he said that he has time and again reiterated that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and radical elements are hand in glove with each other and are trying to grab power by any means.

He appealed to the people of Punjab to be wary of the blatant lies churned out by the likes of AAP. “Only SAD-BJP alliance has the interests of Punjab at its heart and the State has witnessed development on all parameters of progress only with Parkash Singh Badal as Chief Minister,” he said.
