Punjab Government on Friday said it has decided to arrange free visit for students of the State to the Holy City of Sultanpur Lodhi on the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev. After presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements for the 550th Parkash Purb celebrations here, Tourism & Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Singh Channi directed the Transport Department to make all necessary arrangements for the visit of students to the Holy City.
The Minister said that the students would be taken on the visit to Sultanpur Lodhi from 1st to 12th November. He said that that the meeting of School Education Department, Technical Education, Higher Education and Medical Education Department and Transport Department would be held soon.
